To upgrade Wanguard and Wansight from version 6.3 or 7.x to 7.2, please follow the steps listed below in the presented order:

  1. Login in to the web interface, go to Configuration » Components and stop all active components
  2. Logout from the web interface by selecting your user menu from the top-right part of the window
  3. Stop the WANsupervisor service on all servers:
    service WANsupervisor stop

  4. Start upgrading the software packages starting with the Console server.
On RedHat/CentOS servers upgrade the packages with:
    yum --disablerepo="*" --enablerepo="Andrisoft" upgrade
On Debian/Ubuntu servers, upgrade the packages with:
    apt-get update; apt-get dist-upgrade
Make sure the software is upgraded on all servers, not just on the Console server. It is critical to run the same software version on all servers.
