PF_RING support for the X520 driver - ixgbe


The steps required to install the X520 driver with PF_RING support on CentOS:
  1. Clone repo for PF_RING v.5 @ http://sourceforge.net/projects/ntop/files/PF_RING/
  2. Build pf_ring.ko kernel module
  3. Build pf_ring aware ixgbe driver
  4. Create /etc/modprobe.d/pfring.conf to load the pf_ring.ko module on boot
  5. Modify /etc/modprobe/ixgbe.conf to load the new pf_ring aware network driver
